Solus Nua Programme

CFRC provide a specially designed programme that offers help and hope to those who have lost a husband/wife through death and to those caught up in the traumatic aftermath of separation. Those who find themselves alone are enabled to process their grief and begin to live again fully. The Solus Nua Programme runs once a year for 7 weeks  beginning in the month of September.  There is usually a mini programme in the Spring for participants of the previous Autumn programme.  Besides, an informal get-together for those who wish is held on a monthly basis.

Please contact 049 4371363 or email info@cfrc.ie for details of this programme.

What is Solus Nua:

The purpose of Solus Nua is to help divorced, separated and widowed men and women heal the grief of their loss and free them once again to love themselves, others and God. These individuals, in turn, offer the hope of a better quality of life to all those with whom they come in contact.

How Does it work?

Solus Nua is a 7 week programme facilitated by specially trained men and women who are themselves widowed, separated or divorced, but further along in the grieving process.  These share their own experience of grief, and present this special healing programme to participants.  Confidentiality is of the essence of Solus Nua.
